At Cross Roads Logistics our motto is Safe, Efficient, Reliable. We expect every member of our team, including drivers and management, to do their part to make sure that we do not fall short of these standards. We must all be deliberate in our actions and focus first and foremost on safety. Safety is the most important aspect of each of our operations. All team members are expected to conduct their day-to-day duties in a manner that makes preventing accidents and injuries their main objective. Our long-term business success depends on our ability to continually improve the quality of our services while protecting people, property, and the environment. Emphasis must be placed on ensuring human health, operational safety, environmental protection, protection of property, quality enhancement, and community goodwill. This commitment is in the best interests of our owners, customers, team members, business partners, our industry, and the communities in which we live and work.
We require all team members to adopt a positive and pro-active approach to their own health and safety, as well as others. Team members will be held accountable for their conduct and behavior, and are expected to report any damage or unsafe conditions they observe to their supervisor. We expect management personnel to address all reports and to discuss them in our internal management meetings. We expect management personnel to address these reports with our drivers during our safety meetings and for all of our team members to participate in these discussions.
One of our primary goals is to grow our team. We aim to add more drivers in different regions to our Short Haul and Energy Divisions. As we grow our fleet, we will also grow our management team. It is our goal to hire professional team members that will be dedicated to making adaptations and improvements as needed.
We are committed to protecting the health, safety, and security of all of our team members at all times. We aim to eliminate HSE accidents and quality non-conformances, and to meet specified customer requirements to ensure continuous customer satisfaction. We aim to set HSE performance and quality objectives, measure results, assess, and to continually improve the processes of our services. We will make adjustments by utilizing and analyzing the results formulated from the continued interaction and collaboration of our management and driver teams, and by addressing each reported incident or situation as one combined team. We will update our company policies and procedures as we move forward, grow, and adapt to the conditions and industry changes that we encounter as they arise. We will continue to institute policies to plan for, respond to, and recover from, any emergency, crisis, and or business disruption. We will continually reward outstanding performance and aim to improve our performance on issues that not only affect our day-to-day operations but also affect the businesses and lives of our customers, team members, and the people in our communities.
This policy and all company policies shall be regularly reviewed to ensure ongoing suitability. This is critical to our growth and success because it allows us to systematically minimize losses – qualitative and quantitative – and adds value for all of our team members, customers, and for our industry.
